"The first time I toured Lakeside I knew my children wouldn't go anywhere else. I had home schooled my children in the beginning, but loved that Lakeside offered much more than I could at home. The Montessori Methods and Materials offered my children the opportunity to use critical reasoning skills and application. My last child just started kindergarten this year and scored on the beginning of the year test at the level children were expected to be at the end of the year.
Recently I have been able to see the school in a new light as I am now the director of Lakeside. I love to watch the level of concentration that even the wiggliest child will give to doing their "work". Their excitement for procedures and learning is rewarding !
