Our Staff
At Lakeside, our classrooms provide a multitude of self-correcting materials displayed on open shelves which are organized into five areas: practical life, sensorial, mathematics, language arts, and science/geography. We provide the students with an early and general foundation that will enable the child to acquire more specialized knowledge and skills throughout their school career.
Each of our teachers are trained in the Montessori methods and are kept up to date with the latest state requirements for child care. This is so we can provide your children with a safe and loving environment where we can develop the whole child.

Our director, Mrs. Rachel, has a 4-year degree from NCSU in the field of Education and a minor in Marketing. She has received her Montessori certification through the North American Montessori Center. Together she and her husband, Wayne, work closely with students and parents to make sure they each have a wonderful experience!

Elibeth Greer
Helen Foster
Mrs. Elibeth has a wonderful imagination and loves working with our younger two year old class. She is a mother of three girls. In my free time I enjoyed making/personalize crafts. I am married with my husband for 14 years. Mrs. Elibeth has had experience working with a variety of children at other child care facilities, and is at Lakeside for her second consecutive year.
Ms. Helen has been babysitting since she was old enough to stop calling it a "playdate", and took a class on Child Psychology before joining our staff last year. She loves children and since coming to lakeside has been assisting teachers of all the age groups with crafts, nutrition, and potty training.
